Namaste, iam Michael Dugger, Asalam walekum.

Ah man, it’s already getting dark earlier and earlier these days! 2022 is gonna be no exception - the sun will be setting before you know it. I’m not sure if I’m ready for this; it’s like time is flying by! But hey, at least we can look forward to cozy nights spent indoors with a cup of hot cocoa. That’ll make the transition a bit easier, right?

Why Is It Getting Dark So Early 2022? [Solved]

Well, you can blame our elliptical orbit for the discrepancy. Ya see, when we’re closest to the Sun in early January, we’re movin’ faster in our orbit. So that’s why it happens!

  1. Daylight Savings Time: On March 14th, 2022, Daylight Savings Time will begin in the United States, resulting in the days getting darker earlier.

  2. Shorter Days: With the start of Daylight Savings Time, days will become shorter and nights longer. This means that sunset will occur earlier than usual and sunrise later than usual.

  3. Impact on Activities: The early darkness may have an impact on outdoor activities such as sports or recreational activities that are typically done during daylight hours.

  4. Adjusting to Change: People may need to adjust their schedules to accommodate for the earlier darkness by planning activities for earlier in the day or finding ways to enjoy activities indoors after dark.

It’s gonna be dark early in 2022 - the days are getting shorter and shorter! It’s a bummer, but that’s just how it goes. I guess we’ll have to get used to it. Oh well, at least we can still enjoy the sunshine while it lasts!
